My name is Jon Kaufmann, and I own Kaufmann Proofing Services.

My qualifications include work as a paralegal for ten years at the law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, where proofreading and copyediting were among my duties.

Upon leaving, I found myself interested in devoting my time to

proofreading and copyediting exclusively.

I have also taught myself, and avail myself of the most current research materials including the Chicago Manual of Style, Stedman's Medical Dictionary, Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Roget's Thesaurus, and The Elements of Style.

Since starting my own business five years ago I have worked on a variety of projects, including business documents, books,

newsletters, e-books, and advertising.
